
"A Cog in the Wheel"
For most, individualism goes only so far. The intricate systems in which we labour - economic, socio-cultural, ecological - are all vastly larger than our little, ephemeral selves, and they tolerate only so much unpredictability on our parts. While innovation and leadership still matter for the lucky few, for most everyone else, thriving depends upon them fitting their square peg into a round hole, to assimilate and conform.
