"And the Heavens Opened"
Images in this gallery exploit the sinewy, sparkling beauty of ordinary plastic pressure-wraps surrounding merchandise shipping pallets, as I found them - often flecked with luminous moisture - on the grounds of home improvement warehouses and lumber yards at several locations across British Columbia and California. In place of the natural beauty that our species is sweeping aside and the heavens that we are blighting, perhaps we can begin to take more aesthetic pleasure now in the overlooked byproducts of our daily industry as a horde of devourers.
