"Dharma Way"
In addition to unknowable God and to the true nature of reality, many religions point to a third component, which is the notion that we should seek our proper direction - filling our empty minds with virtuous thoughts and our otherwise meaningless lives with fulfilling actions - by forging a correct alignment with the cosmos.
Chinese Taoists have thought of this as "the way." A related Sanskrit term, dharma, is favored by Buddhists and literally means "right direction," pointing toward a person's true calling. An urge to find one's ultimate purpose in living is the mind's "god-shaped" gap, which one thousand creeds compete to fill.
