"Dying Bloom"
Although this floral still life may seem natural upon first glance, it also gives one an instinctive pause, and not merely because the plant has picked up the oddly attentive aspect of a preying mantis. It turns out, upon further inspection, that the hues of bloom and leaves have been exactly reversed, to satisfying effect.
