"Jail Cell 1 - Interior Door Handle"
Since access was controlled by locks on the outside, this handle affixed to the inside of a cell door must have provided an ever-present focal point for the prisoner, a taunting reminder of the dire urgency, alongside the absolute impossibility, of getting away from what was to come.
