"Resting Limb"
A sense of chaos and disorder, of competing and mutually alien orders of life, pervades the messy boundary zones where man is clearing natural land for habitation or where Nature is reclaiming that land again from man. In these unhappily displaced spots, the emblems of incompatible ecosystems collapse into each other in random patterns of shared ruination; and here, in a poignant moment of exhausted mutual embrace.
