TITLE -"Satanic Verse"
WHERE - Cement factory, Vancouver, B.C. (2015)
In a mostly hidden corner of a derelict factory warehouse, someone broke in after hours and carefully spray-painted this satanic image across a broken window and the panel directly behind it, creating a striking, multi-dimensional effect. Given its location, almost nobody in the world would ever see this graffiti - I stumbled across it by chance during my own exploratory break-in to photograph the factory grounds. What sort of mind chose to paint it precisely there? And slowly, for himself, with such care with the details? Had St. Alleyway somehow found his way to the spot while on holiday in North America?
