"The Ministry of Truth"
This austere administrative building complex in the heart of Berlin was built by the Nazi's and subsequently occupied by the Soviet bureaucracy. Although utilitarian and bland in design, there was an Orwellian menace to its faceless block-long sprawl that caught my attention and made me ponder the heartless machinery of the darkness-filled regime that conceived it and then occupied all of its cubbyholes.
